GreenDependent Egyesület

The main purpose of the Alliance of Climate-Friendly Municipalities is to assure that a professional climate strategy is conceived for as many settlements in Hungary as possible. It facilitates the realization of climate programmes and represents the interests of the participating settlements in climate-related issues.

In November 2007, the Alliance of Climate Friendly Settlements was formed in Hosszúhetény. Five Hungarian cities joined the initiative: Tatabánya, Hosszúhetény, Pomáz, Pilis and Albertirsa. The Alliance currently has 16 participating settlements and 3 supporting members, including the GreenDependent Association.
